Numerous clients pursue individual therapy often without recognizing that their issues are fundamentally relational. Various elements, including interpersonal relationships, significantly influence our moods, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. My therapeutic approach is grounded in solutions, humanistic principles, trauma-informed care, and attachment theory, viewing the 'self' as a dynamic entity continuously shaped by interactions with significant others.
I collaborate with individual clients to foster a profound understanding of ingrained core beliefs, behavioral patterns, and neglected aspects of the self. Together, we examine how the client’s narrative is affected by previous relationships with caregivers, friends, and partners. Furthermore, we consider the influence of broader systems, such as culture and race, on the client’s experiences and perspectives on life. My goal is to assist individuals in embracing vulnerability and authentic emotions in a balanced manner, enabling them to engage confidently with all facets of themselves and the challenges life presents.
I am convinced that our collaborative efforts in therapy can cultivate self-awareness, resilience in overcoming difficulties, a deeper connection to your body, and enhanced interpersonal relationships
